Latest Update

I am sorry I have not posted in a while. I got board with staying in the house so I went out and got me a part time job at one of the local hardware stores in town. That took some of the time that I would normally devoted to posting. It is not too far from the house so travel in the winter will not be to difficult. I work in the paint department servicing the customers with the colors of paint they desire for their projects. It took some getting used to at first but over the past couple of months I have grown comfortable working there.

Although I am not spending as much time with the various hobbies I have continued to do some as the notion hits. One of the projects was an 8' paracord whip. It took about 4 hours to accomplish and I am happy with the results. I have found some new techniques to make the snappers for the whips and now have quite a selection to choose from.

As you can see I changed it up a bit and added color to it. I am still experimenting with the ways to add the colors to create new designs that are aesthetically pleasing while not changing the way that the whip works.

Another recent accomplishment is an amethyst pendant I created. This was a simple one done by request as a good luck charm. It took all of about 30 minutes to accomplish.

This was well received and hope it produces plenty of luck. I am still working on a square facet of amethyst for a ring or pendant. I am not sure yet which way I will go with it. I have some ideas for projects in silver and will post those when I make some headway.

I wish you all happiness in your futures. Take care!!
