There hasn't been too much going on so I have been trying to keep up with the weeds in the front flower beds. That is a challenge in keeping up. There has been thunder storms almost every afternoon so I haven't had to do a lot of watering.
I completed two projects that I have been meaning to get around to. The first is a marble clock I finished.

The other is a six foot bull whip made from paracord.

Making the whip didn't take as long as I thought it would. All totaled I guess I spent roughly six or seven hours creating it. The most challenging part was doing the diamond plait on the handle with twelve strands. The handle took about two hours of weaving and constantly adjusting the strands and tightening them uniformly. Once completed I tested it out and it works fairly well but took a little getting used to as it didn't need as much power. When it is broke in it will start feeling natural.
While I was at it I brought out my twelve foot leather bull whip and practiced with it for a bit. I found that I am pretty rusty and took me about fifteen or twenty minutes to get back in the groove. That one I am pretty used to but had to change the cracker. I do make my own crackers.
That is it for this post. I hope you all are having a great time.
Take care.
