Today's update

It's been to cold to work on the faceting or any stone work. When it is cold the stones are more prone to pop off the dop sticks. We had snow the day before yesterday which was a surprise. We are usually done with snow in March but this year the weather has been a little crazy. I do have a lot of hobbies so it was not difficult to tackle one of the others that I have been putting off. Today I created a leather face belt buckle with the fivefold symbol on the face. It's not perfect and I should have spent a little more time on it but this is the result.

Hopefully soon the weather will be warm enough to begin the work on the front yard. The dead tree in front is still calling my name to be removed. There was a little sun yesterday so I did take the two main stalks that have started laying over out. This is the before picture and you can see the two stalks on the right.

You can also see that it was wet when this shot was taken. The rest of the stalks still need to be taken out as when the wind kicks up they could pose a danger to anyone near it if they also break free. The flower bed as you can see is bare at the moment but I do intend to correct that when the weather starts warming up.
